With over 20 miles of trails on the property, there are a variety of horseback riding options available at Mormon Lake Lodge. While we offer shorter excursions, the half-day Zane Grey Picnic and full-day Mormon Mountain Adventure rides make a fantastic date.
On the Zane Grey Picnic, you will travel to one of the most picturesque overlooks in the Mormon Lake Valley. For advanced riders, choose the Mormon Mountain Adventure. Along the trail, you will pass old logging camps, ranching corrals, and railroad tracks. The views get better and better as you head up the mountain towards the peak. Enjoy a hand- packed lunch at the top of Mormon Mountain, where you can see up to 100 miles in every direction.
