Say your vows beneath the gorgeous Arizona sky with a rustic outdoor wedding at Mormon Lake Lodge. We offer two scenic outdoor ceremony sites and the option of an indoor reception in our Town Hall. When you plan a wedding at Mormon Lake Lodge, you have complete creative control, so you can be certain that your special day is exactly how you always dreamed.
Forest Grove
The larger of our two ceremony sites, Forest Grove, can accommodate more than 200 guests. In addition to the beautiful setting created by the Ponderosa Pines that surround it, Forest Grove includes an arch altar. Unadorned, the arch has a simple beauty, but many couples choose to customize this focal point of the space with their own decorations. Large swathes of burlap or pastel sheer fabrics blend well with the site’s organic beauty while bright flower arrangements on the arch (or lining the aisle) add a joyful pop of color to the site.
Oak Grove
For a more intimate wedding, our Oak Grove ceremony site is ideal. This romantic location is partially enclosed and can accommodate up to 90 guests. As with our Forest Grove site, you are welcome to decorate the location to bring the vision of your dream wedding to life. But you may find that the backdrop of the Coconino National Forest is all the décor you need.
Reception Options
You can choose to have an indoor or outdoor reception after your ceremony at Mormon Lake Lodge. Outdoor receptions are held in and around our Ramada, located only a few hundred feet from the Forest Grove ceremony site. As with your ceremony location, you are free to decorate and set up the area around the Ramada to suit your individual tastes and preferences. We also have a dedicated Wedding Specialist on hand who will be happy assist with the planning to ensure your cocktail hour and reception are flawless.
Our Town Hall is available for indoor wedding receptions no matter which ceremony site you use. The historic building was built in the 1920s. It was actually a dance hall and saloon originally, which may be why it is such a great venue for dancing. As with the ceremony sites, we invite you to personalize this space to match the theme and colors of your wedding.
