1. Lowell Observatory
See where Pluto was discovered! Home to the historic Pluto Discovery Telescope, the Lowell Observatory in downtown Flagstaff (only 30 miles from the Lodge) hosts nightly programs and telescope viewing when the weather permits.
2. Campfire
Once you’ve pitched your tent, or hooked up your RV to our full electricity, water, and sewer system, you can sit back and enjoy a nice cool evening with friends. Start a campfire as soon as the sun begins to set and keep the hot dogs and s'mores coming.
3. Pepsi Amphitheatre
Although it’s closed during the winter, Pepsi Amphitheatre is a great spot to catch an outdoor concert in Flagstaff the rest of the year. Surrounded by pines, this amphitheater hosts national and local bands guaranteed to put you in a good mood.
4. Stargaze
If you live in the city, you’re in for a real treat. Since Mormon Lake Lodge is located in a fairly remote area, looking up at the night sky will be a whole new experience for you. Grab a few blankets and some pillows and find a spot where you can clearly see the sky as you lay down.
5. Theatrikos Theatre Company
In the mood to catch a show? Theatrikos, located in Flagstaff near NAU, produces comedies, dramas, musicals, new works, and classic favorites. Shows occur most nights, but you’ll want to check their website for specific dates and times, and to purchase tickets before you arrive.
