Every Wednesday in June and July, you can find Flagstaff residents and visitors at the Concerts in the Park Summer Series run by Flagstaff Parks and Recreation. More than just live music, these summer concert series includes arts, crafts, and even face painting for kids and the young at heart. The concerts are lawn seating in the park, so feel free to bring blankets or lawn chairs. During the 2017 season, performers include local musicians who play a variety of musical genres, from reggae to Celtic.

2. Farmer's Markets

During the summer months, Flagstaff is home to two weekly farmer’s markets. With over 85 participating vendors for this year, Flagstaff Farmer’s Market is about to start up for its 17th season. On Sundays, the farmer’s market is in the City Hall parking lot and the Wednesday market can be found at Pine Forest School.

3. Saturday Morning Bird Walks

These fun and informative walks are organized by the local Flagstaff Audubon Society and held at the Flagstaff Arboretum.
